BACKGROUND: Rural Dwellers Multipurpose Cooperative Society Limited was born on 13th September 2022 with special attention and emphasis on agricultural commodities production, processing, packaging and marketing. Our Vision: 1. To organize farmers either on individuals, Cooperatives, Associations, companies, Enterprises, clubs, traders, market women, youth organizations. Train them, engage them in food production, processing, packaging and marketing. We are poised for surplus food security, value addition and export from Eastern Nigeria. 2. We intend to revolutionise Agribusinesses in the Eastern Nigeria. 3. We are to partner with local and international partners either Associations, cooperative Societies, company, Enterprise, governments, donor agencies, grant providers, crowd funder, individuals, clubs, market women, traders, youth organizations, consultants etc to achieve this vision. 4. Our Mission: 1. To make food available and affordable in the Eastern Nigeria. 2. To produce enough raw materials that will sustain industries and industrial growth in the Eastern Nigeria. 3. To revive some dead companies that died because of lack of raw materials to sustain the company. 4. To develop many Agricultural Commodities in the Eastern Nigeria for processing, packaging and export etc. 5. To train interested farmers locally and internationally. 6. To provide inputs, materials, training, source for land, equipment for the farmers and the processors, packaging and the marketers. 7. To engage in advocacies, Seminars, events, workshops, etc to sensitive the Easterners about the values and benefits of Agribusinesses. 8. To crash the price of food for the reach of the common people the Eastern communities. Operations of: Rural Dwellers Multipurpose Cooperative Society. Our programme: 1. We source for Land on lease, in hectares depending on what quantity the investor or partners demanded. 2. . We select one or more commodities annually, converse for partnership, investors, collaborations etc. 3. We also engage into cultivation of any agro commodity based on the specification and request by any investor or partners both from within Nigeria or from any countries of the world. 4. We bring interested Cooperatives, Associations, companies, Enterprises, clubs, traders, market women, youth organizations, governments etc. to invest in the production of the commodity(s) we selected for cultivation. 5. Our project, distance is never a barrier for any participating investors, partners etc. 6. We always take the confidence of our investors, partners etc into serious consideration by inculcating transparency in our dealing and our operations. 7. Any investor or partner etc can send their representatives from tim to time to the project location for update on how the project is going. 8.
